And although that's a quote from The West Wing (and therefore not strictly speaking “true”), it’s a perfect metaphor for what we do at EMOTO-SCOPE:

 

10 years ago, co-founder Matt accidentally discovered a process for turning live-action into animation using only light. (No motion capture, CERTAINLY NO AI.)

 

Freed from the constraints of photo-realism, we were suddenly able to create characters, worlds, and stories that looked as big as they felt. We refined this approach on projects for MRC and Warner Bros Television (all of which were shot entirely in our tiny box of a studio.)

And today, thanks to co-founder Eric, our process is in real-time, allowing us to spend the majority of our time writing, directing, experimenting and figuring out how to do weird / wonderful things like this: (No pens required!)
